Nail surface shape changing method, wherein the nail plate is deformed due to the prolonged exposure to the elastic force of an elastic element created from a segment of a bendable thread made of a nickel-titanium metal alloy, while such an elastic element bends around the outer surface of the nail with fixation of such an elastic element with a photocomposite polymer on this surface. The aforementioned elastic element is created, taking into account the shape of the nail surface, thickness and degree of necessary deformation of the nail plate, by figuratively bending the aforementioned thread to obtain a looped appearance with the nail surface bending around the resulting elastic element and with point fixation on this surface with a photocomposite polymer. In this case, the elastic element is positioned in such a way as to ensure the connection of its rounded parts with the areas of the nail plate that are subject to the greatest deformation, and after achieving the required change in the shape of the nail surface, the elastic element with the photocomposite polymer is removed.
